Introduction

I have been interested in building an aircraft for some time. During the last year I made the decision to build a Van's RV-7.

The kit and the desired outcome...

I have spent the past six months wrapping up household projects and getting the garage / shop ready.

The Shop

I was also able to get a demo flight in an RV-7 at the Sun N Fun airshow this spring.

The demo flight and all the other aircraft were very motivating. I'm finally done (mostly) with all the house projects and have also done some practice projects to get familiar with riveting and metal work.

The empennage kit for the RV-7 has been in the garage for a while and now it's time to open it up...
